A warm,, Inviting experience with a delicious Italian food menu.
Steve and Kerry, the owners of Stevarino’s, came to South Pittsburg from Florida. Kerry and his wife Laurie, along with Steve, wanted to bring delicious and affordable Italian cuisine to people in the Tennessee Valley.
When they arrived in South Pittsburg, Steve and Kerry found the perfect setting for their restaurant – a historic building located downtown. Originally built in 1917, the structure was actually two separate buildings with a combined first floor. Over time, the building housed a pharmacy, a bargain store, the meat market, a dentist’s office, apartments, a few different bars, and more.
While renovating the building, Steve and Kerry decided to take full advantage of its historic features. The pair decided to prominently feature the brick walls, tin ceilings, and the building’s beautiful tile. To further complement the historic feel, a bar from Fort Myers, Florida that dated back to the 1930s was brought to the restaurant.
Stevarino’s concept is based on Papa Joe’s, a restaurant in Cape Coral, Florida. Papa Joe’s is owned by Eddie and Joni Duranti and was founded in 1990. Both Stevarino’s and Papa Joe’s are built around a warm, inviting experience with a delicious Italian food menu.
After opening the South Pittsburg location, the team decided to open a restaurant in Scottsboro, Alabama. With a lot of help and hard work, that location has continued to perform well. In April 2019, a third Stevarino’s opened in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Located in the North Shore area of the city at 325 Cherokee Boulevard, the newest restaurant brings modern Italian cuisine to the people in and around Chattanooga.
Stevarino’s continues to benefit from wonderful customers who have shown a clear love for the Italian eatery and pub. Thanks to their support, Stevarino’s can share its restaurant and catering services with people in Tennessee. So, the next time you are craving delicious Italian food, visit Stevarino’s.
